Access is governed by role-based access control. Administrators manage users and groups, assign roles, and compose fine-grained permission sets from a catalog of resources and actions (view, review, edit, delete, and so on). Permissions are grouped by resource, such as assets, connectors, collections, settings, and users, and each application has its own permission namespace, so you grant access per application. A super-administrator role exists for full platform control.

Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and a web application firewall protects the API and web app. Deployments with stricter requirements can add optional network isolation. Media itself is delivered over a CDN using signed URLs, so access is always controlled.
